Crimson Tide's "a partial execution message" and half the crew wanting to launch and half the crew fighting against it. There's no such thing as a "partial" message - that's like being "a little pregnant." You either are or are not!

Weapons appearing more powerful than they really are in almost every movie.

Some of us had extra secret weapons. They never had to be reloaded or aimed. We were told not to tell you.

I love how quick someone dies from a gunshot wound, especially to the abdomen. It's a slow painful death.

SSG Pete Fleming - Yeah. Blood dripping everywhere, and he can still run with the best of them, killing every enemy soldier around. Lol.

The slow death is so they can speak their last paragraphs. "Tell the guys back at squadron that I was wrong about Joe stealing the coffee to get out of cleaning the pot. It was really me because I..." And then he goes on for another 9 hours and then finally dies which is merciful to the listener as well as the wounded guy.

Steve McQueen in the movie, Bullet, was climbing a fire escape ladder and was shot in the shoulder from a 45. I almost felt his pain as he climbed the last 40 foot of ladder.

Sorry Cpt Durish but you were not cleared to have an atomic hand grenade. We were not suppose to tell you about them. In fact we had to account for each one we used.

I guess it is okay to see a Huey with two engines...not a real big deal since the real deal has one...but shoot a law from inside a small room or from inside a helicopter....I got to send up a red flag

One of my pet peeves about military movies is how the passengers and crews on military aircraft such as Blackhawks and C130s can conduct a conversation using normal voices instead of having to scream.

I have several A. anyone referring to Marines as "soldiers" GRRR (news media idiots do this constantly). Early episodes of JAG were guilty of this next one- single engine Helicopters flying off Navy ships! Movies showing Marines saluting uncovered, or being covered indoors.

I hate it when Hollywood writers think that all military people act and talk like robots. And if the movie is about an enlisted, then all his SNCO's and Officers are dimwitted, gung ho, or incompetent. If it's about Officers, then the enlisted are dimwitted, gung ho, or incompetent....

There is preset cardboard cutout template that all Hollywood soldiers must represent.
