What is the biggest military movie/TV goof, basically the military Movie/TV mistakes that annoys you the most?

Saw Auedy (spelling?) In movie grab the barrel of a BAR with his bare hand after firing about 50 rounds with one magazine of course.

I think that Clint Eastwood's 'Hamburger Hill' was certainly one of the worst military flicks I've ever seen. And it really pains me to say it because I think he is genius as an actor/director/producer/musician and just about everything he touches.

But no GySgt that I have ever known would have taken the garbage of that group of FU's for even 5 min. It was insane.

Wrong Aircraft. F5/T38s identified as Migs in Top Gun, many WWII movies. On a similar note, a B25 Identified as a PBJ in In Harm's Way.. Not sure that isn't a legit Navy designation tho...

It was only "Quasi military", but in the TV show "A Team", they'd expend the same amount of ammo as the whole Vietnam War, and no-one would ever get hit. I've always found this amazing.

I was in artillery and I fired 105's, 155's, 109 SP's and 8 inch artillery weapons. It always gets me that when they show artillery being fired there is no recoil.

In general; the lack of attention to detail on military uniforms and grooming. Always hate to see excessively long hair especially on Marines.

Watching a military movie and a uniform is misappropriated with wrong placement of brass, awards scrambled out of order, person has no military haircut

How about John Wayne jumping with his snap hook still attached to the top of his reserve parachute?

Everything in Iron Eagle; I also get a kick out of people having a conversation in cargo aircraft using normal office / home voice volume levels - and not wearing hearing protection.
