The Last Ship, it's a farce! A ship at Sea as long as this one has been, several years, would be a rust bucket!! How do these people get paid? There's govt in turmoil! How do they get promoted? Where does all the food come from? Who cleans the heads? Who mess cooks? Have seen Chiefs, and a Masterchief, never saw a Seniorchief. Ships need to go into overhaul for regular maintenance, this one runs like a Swiss watch.

I once saw a made for TV movie, I think it was about the Seals, not only there these Sailors being called Sergeant and other Army\ Marine ranks. The officers were wearing Surface Warfare devices as ranks. Wow, it was bad. Got about ten minutes and turned it off.

Worst is explosions of mortars or grenades or other lower yeilds...seems no-one gets hurt unless they are in the blast itself. Not the way it works...HE rounds are frag: they fill the Air with shrapnel which tears the living hell out of everything nearby. Really bugs me when our hero is running along, and explosions happening close around him and he don't get a scratch, when he should look like splattered hamburger.

25 year old "Colonels" piss me off. Saluting out in the open in a combat area is silly (unless you really don't like the person you are saluting). Humvees that actually run... Gun barrels that don't melt after about 8 minutes of full auto. Really crappy hair cuts or lack thereof. Hats indoors.

Whating the T.V. show "Combat" with Vic Morrow. There was a big barn full of German soldiers shooting at the squad and Sgt. Saunders (Vic) throws a hand grenade and blows the whole barn to bits. Give me one of those "nuke" grenades every time!

When I first started watching the series, one of the things I thoroughly disliked was the way two Americans could take on a platoon of Germans and kill them all with ease. I stopped watching.

Anytihing A Team, anything Chuck Norris. No way you can keep suppressing fire accurately from an M 60 on a stationary target while in a moving, bouncing vehicle. Just how much time do you have when you pull the pin to a hand grenade and let the spoon fly....
