At least 2 movies with big mistakes that annoy the piss out of me. Battle of the Bulge and The Big Red One both use American tanks as german panzer oh and the movie Patton where they literally used Patton tanks as german tanks. Those aside I love The Big Red One and Patton

Sadly few “enemy” tanks survived the war, let alone in running condition. The only running Tiger in the world was used in Fury and even it was on a platform to protect it. Yet, enough Sherman’s existed for Bridge Too Far to replicate General Horrock’s force (Michael Caine’s character).

Air is as bad. There wasn’t a flyable Zero at the time that Midway and Tora, Tora, Tora were filmed.

I don't remember the movie. But when a KC-135 is refueling a plane, the plane suddenly goes up and causes the boom to snap and both planes explode. As soon as the receiver aircraft started to rise, the boom would automatically disconnect.

Movie Dear John, his rank was upside down. In Rambo, COL Trautman ribbons were messed up, and I think he was wearing bolo badges. He was also wearing unit crest on his beret, not the Bird.

Ssgt Freeman, agreed! Myself and any other former Marine I know (notice, people, I didn’t say EX-Marine) get bent out of shape about being called “soldier.” And civilians don’t understand why.

Without a doubt...the engine sounds of aircraft. Constantly every helicopter sounds like a Bell 47. (TH-13). Radial engines sound different than V-12s....50s and early 60s jet engines are drastically different than later models. If you are filming anything, record what you are using! It’s Not that hard!
