Looks like the 8th army insignia so I'm guessing Korea. Or umbrella corp and racoon city.
SGT Stefan Humphrey
That odd emblem is the old 8th Army patch, Based out of Seoul Korea for as long as I can remember anyways, those fine war-fighters in the background are sporting the Indian-head of 2ID when the entire division was located on the Korean Peninsula, not spread all over hither thither and yon!

SGM Barry Kindred - Was this during President Reagan's 13 November 1983 visit to Camp Liberty Bell just outside the Korean DMZ where he spoke and attended a Sunday church service with the troops there. This POTUS was certainly very fine looking officer.

Most people see the Regan Era as the good old days I guess it depends on your point of view I think if I remember correctly they was a barracks bombing in Beirut a recession double digit unemployment the auto industry began its spiral many treaties with Japan and other countries that began sheparding jobs overseas lets not forget Iran contra many families were forced to get on government assistance we began funding Osama bin laden fight with Russia. A failed drug war where we failed to stop slow or hamper the mass importation of cocaine and crack was more available than new textbooks So was Regan the best of all time I guess if you like a tough talking action hero I think you might be right but we needed a president that had foresight and a plan. I am a student of politics and policy I was 7 when he took office I can only give you what he did and impact it had moving forward so before we condemn and berate a sitting president think you the larger picture and the time in which each president served Reagan would be a dinosaur if he Acted the same why now

SFC Mike Appleby - I may have been 7 when he took office. Ur the fact that I have bachelors degrees in both history and political science and a masters degree in public administration gives a me little more insight they generally don't spin facts textbooks

If you had been in the service when Reagan took over you would know why he is so highly regarded. Your history courses dealt to objective issues that have plagued every president since then, and many before, but the difference was in the spirit and sense of value he instilled in the military. Carter had cut funding to the point where aircraft were deadlined in a full systems status just to preserve them in the event we had a real mission to which we had to respond, just as Clinton and Obama cut funding to the point where aircraft availability and flight time are at the point where mission capability is questionable. Reagan coming aboard was as though a heavy burden had been lifted from our shoulders, and we could finally do what we signed on to accomplish. The military will accomplish much more when they feel they are appreciated and admired; it's part of leadership and, if you are still on active duty, if you pay attention to indefinable spirit that is the result of Trump's attitude.

Sir I think it's fair to say that history is best remembered from ones point of view as I was 7 and my dad was retiring from the army and I can only give my clearest recollection but I do know that the good old days for some aren't the same for all but I remember an oil embargo by OPEC that would have impacted movement of aircraft carriers as for president trump the jury is still out on whether he and his spirit will accomplish anything he could be the best ever or he could self destruct I hope he succeeds in bringing about the needed paridigm shift that all Americans agree needs to happen. Thank you for your service Sir

Here is a picture I purchased earlier this summer at the Mid-Michigan Antiques Festival in Midland. Ronald Reagan and Jane , Regan's first wife. I'm so proud to own it. My favorite POTUS.
