What are your most creative out of the box concepts for military to civilian transition?

Kinessa Johnson created what I believe is a rather unusual opportunity for herself.

I have always wanted to return to Africa in a civilian capacity on safari :)

Warmest Regards, Sandy

With all the talk of hunting and ISIS/ISIL, how about combining them and having terrorist hunting safari in sunny Northern Iraq? Put up signs all over Africa saying: "Why hunt lions when you can be a lion, Lion of Rojava!"

Have a taxidermy service and everything...is that a bit too far?

Damn good idea. No-go on the taxidermy.

I've never had a business mind. I was the guy who was good at bringing everyone together and getting maximum work accomplished but making us feel like a hard working family. I don't know what that translates into, hence the unemployment and RallyPoint work. I consider RallyPoint one of the dream jobs I never had. No matter how many applications I put in for helping veterans (my true calling), I keep getting the rejection notices. God is either having me wait for thed perfect job I am intended for, or I am being told to sit it out for a while longer. It's frustrating being an out of work workaholic.

All of a sudden the 1,000,000 + is making sense...kind of.

Trust in the Lord and all will be as it should. I was in you shoes but they were killing my feet and I am glad I noticed I had the wrong shoes on quickly. I would have thought your feet were bigger?

I have to create work MSG Brad Sand. You should have seen some of my game scores/levels on FB before I found other veterans to "hang out" with!

I had to go cold turkey on Facebook games myself.

Maybe you could apply to do some volunteer work on VETPAW publicity and social networking? ;)

I found this one:

Wanted: Polar bear spotter on Norwegian islands

OSLO, Norway (AP) — Do you enjoy the outdoors and have strong vocal cords? If so, Norway might have a summer job for you: three weeks in the Arctic wilderness spotting polar bears.

The governor’s office on the remote northern islands of Svalbard is seeking a polar bear spotter to warn researchers doing projects in the region.

Also I have a friend that goes to Africa from time to time. She works with the San Diego Zoo. The Safari thing is right up her alley.

And what day did you find this "job" offer SPC David S.? Could it have been posted April First?

That's what I thought but this job has been out there since May 2013. The government's official travel guide instructs visitors to take precautions: "For protection from polar bears, a rifle calibre .308 or higher, is recommended – for even brief trips." The Island of Svalbard sounds like my kind of place.

Think of all those starving polar bears we could be feeding Isis to.

Do you think polar bears like curry flavored meat?
