Well I had seen a Sgt Sargeant once. Didn't know him personally, but I imagine he got some shit from the Drill Instructors in boot camp.

An E-5 sergeant with the last name Major. That was great. Really happened.

I had a E-6 (SSG) Majors that I worked with. I got out of so much extra detail just by saying "but Sergeant Majors ordered me to do X", when they were looking for extra work to be done. No one wanted to contradict an "order" from the Sergeant Major so I could just carry on and finish my work.

I met a Sgt. Sex once in my career.
When I went to boot camp, General R.E. Barrow had just retired as CMC (Commandant of the Marine Corps). Boy was I drilled for the first couple of weeks - just to make sure I did not expect special (better) conditions than everyone else.

1. Did the Sgt's CO ever say, "I had Sex in my office."?
2. Did you get the nickname "Wheel"?

#1 - no idea about his CO, but all the staff and NCOs sure had fun with it, and missed so many more that he was happy to supply...
#2 - too many times growing up - or Burrows (as in my head in the dirt)

While stationed at Ft. Riley, KS our medic was a SPC who's last name was Six. This was back when the rank SPC6 still existed.
