What is the new Army PT test, if there was a change to the three event PU/SU and 2 mile run?

I been retired since 2006 and remember the PT test consisted of three events, Push up, sit up and 2 mile run. I heard it changed. What is the PT test now and to those who done both, which one is better?

It's easier to pass but much harder to max. The ACFT appears to be an Upper Body Round Robin (PFA used by ARSOF) that big Army got their grubby mitts on and ripped apart and repurposed for their own use.
It is truly much easier to pass, most people shouldn't have a problem passing (the gold standard - aka lowest level) by just doing day to day work - maybe having to practice the leg tuck at most. But to max the whole thing the gym rats will need to learn to run, and the runners will need to learn to lift.

Someone want to tell me what kind of battles we will fight wearing shorts, t-shirts and tennis shoes.

75% of women cannot do one tuck. I personally believe that we will lose 10% of the military across-the-board. Maxing it is not the goal, passing it is. I could do a 299 on the last APFT given in October 2019.

I already switched to the air force because of this stupid test. It's crossfire trash. My PSG just got a hernia and forced his hand to retire. This is pushing out good experienced people.

SSgt (Join to see) - Yeah, IMO a lot of Soldiers are going to get hurt doing the ACFT from incorrect form and/or push the weight lifting portion(s) to far.

SSG, How did you switch over to the airforce ? Was it a difficult process ? and we’re you able to keep your rank?SSgt (Join to see)

SGT (Join to see) I was Army NG E-5 and I tried to get a conditional release but the state I was in wouldn't release me in my case. I had been talking to the Air National Guard for about a year. When my ETS date came around, I signed a new contract with the ANG a week before my ARNG contract expired. Dated for the following day so there was no break in service. It was too difficult. And if you talk to a recruiter you may be able to switch. What component of Army are you? AD, NG or Res?

It's a trash cross fit abomination. It got sold to the army like that digital throw up uniform that only blended in with your grandma's couch. All about money and who the generals have investments with. I left the army because of that test. What they don't talk about is the massive amount of injuries already being reported, especially at basic training hubs. A brand new 18 year old wants to deadlift 400 lbs when they never have deadlifted in their life
