That's easy. Marine barracks at 8th & I in DC. My mother had the balls to knock on the front door of the Commandant's house. General Conway told her to "knock on the door" the next time we were in the area so it made for an interesting conversation with the sentries who came around the corner a few seconds later.

I don't know the exact name, but the USMC barracks in DC, where they do the Twilight Tattoo during the summer.

And in keeping with the theme of picture identification, that is the Blue Angles C-130 "Fat Albert" that is entirely crewed by Marines and equipped with rockets.

LTC (Join to see), it's the Evening Parade that's performed at 8th & I. The Sunset Parade is performed at the USMC War (Iwo Jima) Memorial. I attended the Evening Parade once, in 1997. It was spectacular!

LTC Stephen C. - Yes, I had the chance to go to the evening parade at the barracks back in 2008 and you are right...it was spectacular!

LTC (Join to see), I watched the Blue Angels perform at the Great Tennessee Air Show on 12MAY11 at the Smyrna (TN) Airport. I was the guest of then Captain John Hecker, USMC, one of the Fat Albert pilots, and a graduate of my alma mater, Auburn University. He was nice enough to invite a few Auburn Tigers, and I was one of them! Semper Fidelis and War Eagle! GySgt Melissa Gravila MSgt George Cater COL Mikel J. Burroughs Sgt (Join to see) Cpl Jeff N.
