So here is what I am wondering? How many guys or gals for that matter, you start into a relationship....things go well...You go out and you buy that one special gift to impress!!! What was it? Did you have to save for it? Did you ever get the gift returned back to you? Did you ever regret that decision? THIS SHOULD BE GOOD!!!

For our 5th wedding anniversary, I bought my wife a apricot colored toy poodle (she always LOVED toy poodles). That dog was her pride and joy! She still says it's the best gift I ever gave her! (and I've been trying very hard to top it ever since, haven't done it yet and we've been married over 30 years! lol!)

Can't say I've ever regretted anything I've bought my husband, but he has managed to almost always outdo me. Although I did buy him a short cruise for New Year's Eve once. OK, maybe that was for both of us.

Just prior to our 1 year dating anniversary I had the good fortune of being in San Francisco for a conference. On one of my short conference days I went into Chinatown and began looking for a gift. I came across a beautiful black pearl pendant and also a set of black pearl earrings. I looked around the store some more and then left to check out some other stores. Every other place I looked in Chinatown didn't have anything that caught my eye the way that pendant and earrings did. On my last day of the conference I went back to Chinatown and the owner of the store remembered me looking through the window at the pendant. I asked her how much for the pendant and when she told me and I said for that price she should throw in the earrings as well, a little haggling back and forth until we came to an agreement and out I walked with both of them. On our 1 year dating anniversary I took her to our favorite Turkish restaurant and right before dessert presented her with her gift. She was floored! She wears the pendant and earrings for special occasions and our date nights and I am blessed to say she also allowed me to make her my wife and we will be celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary next week.

Best thing I ever gave a woman? A newfound appreciation for other women.

My own fault... As soon as she says "I just got tested", you already know two things: She's lying, and that shits contagious... Always wrap before you tap... and that includes the wife til she's been to the clinic after deployment... Jodie is a dirty bastard.
