So, I placed a bet with a fellow RP member. I lost so I am paying up. Couldn't find a Navy shirt, but I figured the winner would still enjoy the sight of the attire. And I always pay my debts. So, here it is: Navy Beat Army (and since the Marines fall under the Navy).......and since my Dad was a Marine, it isn't so bad to wear it.

I lost a bet when I was 19 years old, and for a year, once a week, I had to wear a pro-recycling shirt depicting a piece of paper that said "It turns me on when you turn me over!" - so, yes, for an entire year I wore an anal sex reference. I don't even remember what the bet was.

What is the silliest bet you have ever lost?

While on deployment I bet a buddy $10 he couldn't drink rest of a jar of mustard that was sitting on a table in the mess decks. I lost the bet because he turned it up and drank it all, but I kind of won too didn't I.

I would say that was a good ten bucks spent since I am sure he was not feeling too well afterwards.

He admitted later that it had been a mistake and he didn't enjoy mustard again for a very long time. LOL

MSG (Join to see) - You're a very good sport. On Saturday, December 10, 2016, we can reconvene to discuss avenging this. Until then, please consider the wager 100% satisfied. Anchors Aweigh & Semper Fi!

MSG (Join to see) When I went to Oregon State, I lost a bet, and had to wear an Oregon hat the day before the Civil War game. Probably the only time I ever wondered if I was gonna get my ass kicked while on campus lol.

Lucky I don't hold your note -- I would'a gotten you the shirt to wear! :)

Never liked losing my hard earned money. All I would ever bet on was what we used to call "lead pipe cinch" bets.

Not too steep a bet. Seeing your team go down to defeat probably hurt worse.

I don't have a picture anymore, but a few years back when the Penguins beat the Red Wings in the Stanley Cup playoffs I donned a Penguins t shirt as a result of losing a bet to a friend/Shipmate on Navy Together We Served.

Well, the bet was for the loser to wear a shirt, and the shopette on my reserve compound.........while having a Marine and Navy sub-compound............had little to no Navy or Marine shirt attire. So, hat it was.
