What is the thing that offends you the most in today's society?

I feel like our 24/7 media competitors have made their money by dividing our great nation. There is pressure to be either this or that; to agree with this and not that. There is no interest (and no money to be made) by encouraging the nation to come together and working the same problem. The way they go on and on, you are either a racist or a victim of racism. If you don't support organization x,y,z...then you are a racist, a gay basher, a republican/democrat, etc. Guns kill, being transgendered is heroic, snipers are cowards, etc etc etc etc. I am an old fart (and getting older and fartier by the day). I would love to go into the ground knowing that we have become a nation that is accepting/accomodating, but not forcing people to take a side......and quit shoving your opinions and beliefs in my face and I will be far more accepting.
