Capt Mark Strobl, you've got that right! I like it at the end when the railroad workers are asking for land to live on and work in Rock Ridge, and the townsfolk say "we'll take the blacks and the Chinese, but we don't want the Irish!"

I'm of Irish descent and I find that hilarious. What I like most about the movie is they play into all racial stereotypes, not to mention the fact that Mel Brooks was just plain a comedy genius.
