The podcasts app. I really enjoy having access to all of the interesting info that's out there and it updates for me. No more plugging in the iPod every week to update.

CPT Chris Loomis One of my favorites is Google Drive. I can access of my documents that are cloud based for easy access and can share files/documents with other service members. For music 8tracks is a really good one.

CPT Chris Loomis, this is an interesting question. My personal favorite is the schedule/calendar. My life gets very hectic during daily operations. Those little reminders keep me on time and on track with my schedule and my life. I can remember quite a few things that I would have forgotten for my son if my calendar hadn't reminded me.

I'm in the same boat as you SSG. I recently said, "I live and die in :30 min blocks..." to two brand new SGTs (good Soldiers that I was happy to see promote). As neither is accustomed to the time management involved in my unit's leadership positions a discussion arose.

I explained how I use both MS Outlook and Google Calendar as well as my iPhone app to keep myself moving on time and task.

I totally agree, CPT Chris Loomis. MS Outlook has been there for me on countless occasions. I also send my Gmail invitations from my Outlook, so the Google Calendar synchronizes the event. It also powers my android phone's calendar, fortunately, so that helps to cut my device management down a little.

The Communicator, I can get the Enterprise when she is close enough in orbit....Damn It did I say that out loud? Sorry it was one of the voices in my head, in reality I like the camera best, keeps me from writing so many notes to myself, thus shutting up another voice in my head.

Anyone use any medic related apps? We at MC4 are gathering input for Apps to release on a device similar to the NettWarrior device (Samsung Galaxy S9). We already have JOMIS MCC, UpToDate, Lexicomp, Deployed Medicine, Calculate by QxMD, EMR Guide, Mobile ADTMC, Battle Buddy, Soldier's Field Card, Barcode Scanner, Army News, WISER, and ePub reader and a few others.

For social good (in this case our community) the miliSOURCE app (http://milisource.defensemobile.com). I've been using the HECK out of Waze lately, though.

I use 2 apps constantly, the first is called Lose It!, the second is my FitBit app.
Lose It is to keep track of all the stuff I eat and the calories and other nutrition stuff, the FitBit is tied into the Lose It app. Since I was injured I have been on a lot of meds that the first big side effect is weight gain.

Currently, my favorite app is a horrendous time suck called "Trivia Crack".

Help me.

Sync, which shares information on my phone and laptop. So if I write on notes or calendar or contacts on my phone it also goes to my iPad at home. It also takes profile information of my contacts on Facebook and puts that into my phone and iPad contacts information. Reminds me of birthdays also.
