Yep. I joined the Army right out of High School and wound up being assigned to what was then called West Berlin. It's a cool patch. It may not exactly be a combat patch, but it resulted in me earning the Army of Occupation Medal.

SFC (Join to see) - The US Army Patch (minus the Berlin arc) pre-dates the Berlin Brigade patch. The BB patch is the US Army Europe patch, with the Berlin arc. If that made any sense.

I know some Army pukes that rate to wear this patch... It was earned, when their unit was attached to 1st MarDiv in Iraq...

From my last unit in Alaska at Fort Wainwright. I worked at Brigade USARAK Aviation Task Force. Just having the Polar Bears intimidating look is awesome and shows you are truly from the Arctic and I get a lot of questions about it to.
