That the military should NOT be forced or even allowed to do gender reassignment procedures. Since ALL Marines share the basic mission of a rifleman, I could care less what gender you are. I could care less what gender you prefer to become, as long as it has ZERO negative impact on my beloved Corps and my brother and sister Marines. However, that choice is a very personal choice, and as such should be the responsibility of the person making that choice. The SOLE responsibility of that person. As a tax payer I do not feel that a person should be allowed to FRAUDULENTLY join the service in order to facilitate gender reassignment. Do it on your own time and on your own dime.

Duplication of assets. Let the Navy and Marine Air Wings handle ground support. Marines and Army handle typical infantry and artillery duties. Leave deep penetration air missions to the Air Force.

I personally don’t have any radical or unpopular opinion concerning our Military. Just our political leaders whom can’t make a simple decision. Just damn make a decision and stick with it. Our Military is the best I’ve seen since the 1970’s. Yes, I’ve been around and then some. Semper Fi People.

The only unpopular opinion I have of the Military all branches is that at one time they allowed Transgendered people into the military. There is just no place in the military for these people.

As much as we would like to believe it and want it to be true, not every one is in the military because they love our great country and want to defend it "against all enemies, foreign and domestic". Many are there simply for the benefits, especially educational, with job training for the future secondary. In this day of the all-volunteer force, love of country should be first and foremost in t he minds of those who join.

I don't know if it's radical or unpopular. The US Military has no interest whatsoever in actually winning wars. The idea is to keep them going as long as possible while the government sticks a sharp stick into anything that might actually bring peace.

Capt Walter Miller
You may have to study World War Two a bit before you see it. It took two years to get the Army that General Marshall built into the field. This was done by about 1/1/44. From that date Germany and Japan were both crushed into power within 12 months. That was done by a Military that was actually invested in ending wars because being at war is detrimental to the nation’s life.

SHARP is an abused program and this makes it hard for real victims to seek help.

PT Belts actually save lives in combat and must be worn at all times when on the FOB.

I am probably not the first or only one with this opinion, but I put in my 4 years, but was not and am not a "hero." I never left the States, and my job-related "dangers" were more likely personal errors than anything.
I feel certain there are at least tens of thousands like me.
