I have never understood why an Organization that prides itself in safety would purchase a black uniform - knowing that in a lot of cases, it gets used before the sun comes up.

I 100% agree, they look sharp but are completely dysfunctional PT should be about function and safety, these are a sad joke. (points up for the commercial fabric changes I'm happy about that) I give it three months around mid winter until installations require a full road guard vest when running in the dark mornings.

If you're referring to the new black PT uniform...
They're black, and the yellow stripe isn't reflective. The only time this would make sense is if you are running in the snow. If you are running in the dark, it is a safety hazard.

The Velcro on the jacket is mildly aggravating, but overall I like them. Not having turtleneck longsleeves is a plus.
