Last year I was the only Female Chaplain Trainer at FT Knox. I had a Chaplain Candidate who lied on me due to he did not like getting corrected by Females!

Had a cadet while at drum wanted to impress a female by saying he was allowed into my area. anyone who has dealt a battalion level cpn team, (the ones who work the funky satellite to give the toc computer and phone) knows it's secure if your not on the list you don't come in. Well he tried three times to push in third time I had enough and dropped his knee sending him into the mud and dragged him out all in front of the battalion commander. He asked why I did it once explained he laughed and said "well that will show these cadets to not go into secure zones again." got off Scott free.

CH Heather Davis..... I would hope that he got some corrective counseling by you and his unit CO and reminded that we do not Lie, Cheat, or Steal, or tolerate those that do.......

Sir, actually that did not happen, and my thirty years of serving was challenged. He did not get corrected and I did not get protected. I had to pull back and take a hit.

I noticed a trend I was always told if you are corrected you are protected. Last year we had several incidents of senior NCO's that were accused of inappropriate behavior. What we found was many of the CADETS did not take to correction.

Once upon a time ago, I was at Ft Lewis for my AT, and after COB, I was walking into the hotel when I see this CDT Captain walk in ahead of me. For whatever reason, he was wearing his ACH but no other headgear. I was behind him about 5-7 ft the whole time. I figured he wouldn't go more than 3 ft in the door before the ACH was off. He got to 6 ft in when I told him to take it off. He turned and looked at me and had that look of wanting to chew some butt till he saw my rank, and then proceeded to remove said ACH. And then just a day or so later, the SAME cadet was sitting OUTSIDE talking on his cell phone with his PC sitting on the bench beside him, under no cover with no sign designating "No Hat/No Salute." He really looked butthurt when I walked up and told him to correct himself before I correct him.
