I use a Dremel with the wire brush attachment. Works great but I occasionally get nicked. For aftershave I use gasoline and then light a match, just in case I missed a hair or two.

I do too Sir, one of my Company commanders gave these out instead of a company coin during one of our deployments.

Sounds like an awesome commander. I might keep that in mind for my next assignment.

spent some time with the Gurkhas in Helmand Province, Afghanistan while working in the British area of operations. Them Gurkhas are something else, warrior culture for sure!

A very beautiful blade pictured. I have not had the pleasure of handling one. Where would I be able to locate and purchase a quality blade of this type?

I went to a double-edged safety razor (a merkur, but nothing fancy), brush and soap about a year ago. Best change ever. Smoother shave and my skin thanks me. There were a few days early on where it looked like I'd been in a knife fight, but you re-learn how to shave pretty quickly.
I will occasionally use an electric razor - either when I am tired (knife fight syndrome), simply forgot to shave and grab my backup razor at work, or am traveling. Since I switched, I can't remember a single time I've gone back to a cartridge razor.
