My husband re-enlisted for 18months stability and a few months ago he got orders for Korea. The date of the PCS will be at 14 months. His retention Nco Claims he screwed up the paperwork but I don’t reallly buy it. His actual reenlistment paperwork clearly says guaranteed 18 months stability. We requested a deferment but it took so long to leave is company I don’t see HRC approving it. What options do we have? I’m thinking IG or JAG.

His career counselor simply input the stability term incorrect. It automatically is set to 12 months, and he made a mistake while confirming the contract.
IG and JAG won't be able to help you, but it's an easy fix.
The Career Counselor has to send a request to adjust your stabilization and delete your assignment. If they give you any resistance, go to the senior career counselor at brigade.
If you have any issues with this, feel free to contact me for additional guidance.

SFC (Join to see) how long does the process take? When will we know when the orders have been canceled?

SPC Shelby Weaver literally days... Sometimes even just a phone call. Your counselor would contact you once it's done.

Skip IG. In my honest opinion they're useless. They cannot enforce anything, they can only make recommendations. Go straight to JAG with all your re up paperwork.

JAG can't do anything either because it's not a legal issue.
