What Post/Base/Camp did you go through Basic Combat Training at and how old were you?

Great Mistakes, 18 years old, went to Fort Sam for Corps school.

Ft. Jackson, South Carolina, 1979. I was 18 and assigned to Co E, 1st Bn, 1st Basic Training Brigade. My barracks were old WW2 era in a place nicknamed "Tank Hill". I still have a lot of memories from that time.

Basic was at FT Sill and AIT was at FT Leonardwood. I was 20

Lack land AFB, TX. I was 18 years old

I took my Basic training at Fort Jackson, Sc. In 1969. I was 21 years old at the time. We called our barracks area Tank hill because their was a water tank at the top of the hill. You could see it almost anywhere on post.Most of us had another name for it, we called it Drag ass hill because when we went out on a march or to the ranges all day, your ass was dragging by the time you made it back to the hill.

1972 Fort Polk (Tiger Land), LA! I enlisted at the age of 20 years old.

Relaxing Jackson and only 18 years.
