Why tag 'atheism'? You're going to get a lot of people that aren't interested in devotionals and, if anything, are more interested in making the bible seem like a mythological text.
As for me, I've attended church and read the bible to my satisfaction. I have no questions for you, really.

I think it's great he tagged atheism. The Bible says :Jud 1:3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the Saints.
Contend. Two boxers are two contenders, so Paul says to contend for the faith which we have. This is a perfect opportunity to present the gospel. Yes , you may have to defend and use the two edged sword of the Lord to verbally show and explain the gospel. Just as long as you use the scriptures in context to back up what the subject is on, and do it with patience and love, there is a good chance to lead someone to the Lord.

Genesis 7:4 "Every living substance that I have made will I destroy."
God repeats his intention to kill "every living substance ... from off the face of the earth." But why does God kill all the innocent animals? What had they done to deserve his wrath? It seems God never gets his fill of tormenting animals.

God bless you and the words you share with others that He may be glorified by you and that those who seek to find Him will and those who do not believe who read your words may come to believe and trust in Him.

By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith. Hebrews 11:7
Has God ever asked you to do something beyond your ability? Perhaps you said no because you knew you were incapable. I would encourage you to pray about it to make sure it is God who is speaking to you and not your own illusions of grandeur. If it came from God, then He is stretching your faith. Faith is a muscle that needs to be exercised. If God is not constantly trying to push you to your limits, you should be wondering why not. Get into the gym of faith and get fit.

Just about everything G-d asked me to do, I felt it was beyond my ability. However, He has always been faithful, stretching me and molding me into what He wanted. It has not always been easy or comfortable, but we are not called to a comfortable life, we are called to "...pick up our cross daily..." As we do, G-d gives us the strength to do those things we think are beyond our abilities.

One of my favorite stories is of Gideon. Gideon was hiding in a wine press grinding grain when the angel found him. He was hiding from marauders who came and stole all their flocks and their best food. I imagine Gideon might have soiled himself when the angel appeared. He may have looked over his shoulder for this "mighty man of valor" the angel was addressing. God brought the plan and the fear. Gideon was just along for the ride.
