You've been to military balls. Like me, you've seen a wide variety of ball gowns. What is an appropriate ball gown? What is not? Can you give or show example?

That is no way shape or form acceptable at a military ball. How is that formal attire?? She dressed like she is going to the club. I would've approached the captain and asked to speak to him first...if he did not listen to me then I'd take it one step higher.

Well that is not a Marine Corps Ball. That couple would have never made it thru the door. I would assume he would have been asked where he picked up the hooker. TASTELESS.

Sgt Richard Buckner Her name is "Phil's baby's momma." Anyway, I agree. It would've been classy had she not cut holes in it and actually wore underwear of some sort.

I've seen this inappropriate photo before and although ok for a club cougar, it has no place at a military ball. We still struggle with appropriate dress code on post/px/bx, probably because we have a force of leaders who do not show the fortitude or personal courage to make a decision on these matters. As a former brigade CSM, this would not get pass my Sergeant at Arms.

A respectful dress to wearer and rank they represent , classy , elegant , if a little fun style should still not be over revealing .. If spouse or date they need to remember who they have came with and wear it with respect .. If person is in military well they must respect their position and dress to fit that .
