You've been to military balls. Like me, you've seen a wide variety of ball gowns. What is an appropriate ball gown? What is not? Can you give or show example?

This picture has been going around for at least 15 years...and it might even have been staged...but ive seen some doozies before..from short dresses and no panties....to guys bringing strippers and Escorts....

There's a definitive line between being sexy/classy and sexy/trashy. It's called modesty. I find them both very disrespectful and distasteful. I consider myself a lady... A lady that sometimes feels the urge to punch certain people in the throat...

Sat across from a Captain's wife at dining out. Her dress clearly had a see-through knit top. Everyone noticed. After the event my wife said, "well at least she had band aids over her nipples." But that was another time (1980s). We still had disco dancers in the O'Club "stag bar."

Yes, been a couple of interesting formals in my day. My group, CID, did not come with crazy people. Ok,there was the time the CG'S (former) wife slapped her ass while dancing, but it was not a major life altering event.

I blame everyone who attended that function that outranks him. How come none of them took him aside as soon as they saw the dress (and the behavior) and let him know it was inappropriate and sent them home say they would be discussing it further the next duty day?
