You've been to military balls. Like me, you've seen a wide variety of ball gowns. What is an appropriate ball gown? What is not? Can you give or show example?

Me and my wife at the 2014 MP Ball! Your wife is a reflect of yourself, if you can't have your wife follow the standards for a proper dress, how can you expect having your soldiers followin standards???

While I can appreciate the ladie's obvious assets, I feel her choice of apparel was disrespectful, in my opinion... A military ball is to acknowledge and honor those whom have sacrificed some, or all, and is not intended to bring attention to one's self...

What a bunch of dumb/ square asses. If your wife is fat you have no choice but to wear a burka type dress to a ball. If she is fit, good looking and awesome, she has to do the same so as not to insult a SGM or General's wife. What a bunch of crap...

She IS an extention of her husband/boyfriend. The so called gown makes her look like a prostitute. If I was the Hostess or CO of the unit-they would NOT be there disrespecting the honor of the Marine Corps or hosting branch
