Unfortunately just like Police and Priests we do attract those that are looking for a path to authority to laude over others to use and abuse. I hope they throw the book at him.

Good to know that Fort Hood is still in the news, but never for anything good. You would think the base commander(s) would learn by now.

I wonder how much of it is attributable to the sheer size and number of personnel on the installtion. Statistically, the number of people there would yield a higher probability of assault.

They would yield a higher rate, but I think it being Fort Hood makes it more high profile. There is a lot criminal activity at Fort Bragg, but you don't really hear about it.

We just had a LTC get wrapped up in a similar crime. They should be executed publicly.

He was arrested and charged. It hit military.com and went viral within the organization. He was released on bail and returned to work, and was promptly removed from the facility. He has been ordered to work from home until the case is resolved.

These type of things just get me sick to my stomach, when I was stationed in GITMO we had a similar situation except it was a female who was running the ring and the only reason she got caught was because customs asked the question if she was bring a large amount of cash into the states and she said yes 20 grand.
