I’m currently serving in Fort Carson and thinking about my next DS. Wife and I wanna see the world and I’m wondering what it’s like in Hawaii. I know the stereotypical unit toxicity bs so Idc about that. I’m talking about the base, the housing situation (on and off post), the activities available, that sorta stuff.

SGT(P) (Join to see) As Others have stated Cost of Living is Pretty Significant, You Can Learn to Squeeze Pennies Like a Champ. Now there is also a Significant Cultural Learning Curve. First Off How do You thing You'll Adapt to being a "Minority". The Population is Asian American Pacific Islanders, You're a Haole, Pronounced (How Lee) You're Not Comma Inna (Come from the Island) and I Was Not fond of the Game "Run the Haole Off the Road" when I was Riding My Moped. It's Not that Bad though The Food is Great, The Japanese, Filippino, Samoan Friends I Met there Were Wonderful.
