This "Field Day" picture here calls to mind the Saturday Night Live sketch I mentioned in another thread about "Navy, Port of call - Bayonne NJ" - "Navy, it's not just a job, it's $96.73 a week..." from the original cast of SNL in 1979, which I first saw in "Snipe Castle" - the horrid barracks at Great Lakes for Machinist's Mate and other engineer ratings "A" school...
