Coolest job. How about chow hall freezer worker in Alaska or Keflavik. Thats pretty damn cool :)
Seriously, off the top of my head, the CAG on a carrier. High ranking and gets to fly.

I really loved my job as an avionics tech, because of the people I worked with. I think Air Force PJs are the coolest. They are bad asses and save lives.

Cool may not be the right lead in here. I would like to think of the military as well trained individuals, professional, mannerly, intelligent, capable, efficient, serious, focused. No room for cool. Plus, we all have to work together to fend off enemies.

Such a subjective question, but that picture of SEALS coming out of the surf is pretty bad-assed, heh.

I'm really going to have to say fighter pilot. Seldom do I hear them complain about their jobs.

My job was one that not many people can say they have seen much less experience. I worked the Flight Deck of the mighty Aircraft Carriers. One of the world's most dangerous jobs. What a rush and satisfaction to see the aircraft being launched of the flight deck and landing safely after their mission is completed. To know that you made that happen is an awesome feeling. I was also qualified as a Conning Officer and Junior Officer of the Watch. These watches are usually stood by Naval Officers. We had the only All Enlisted Bridge Teams in the Navy, for Aircraft Carriers. Awesome time!

Way too many safety factors in place to prevent that. That's not to say it still doesn't happen. We did our best to make sure this didn't occur.
