I’m putting together a shadow box for my late grandfather. When I was previewing his rack on a website, it showed four OLC as individual devices, as opposed to the Army’s four-in-one device I’m accustomed to seeing. I was also sent individual devices by National Archives & Records. I think four-in-one looks better since it can’t be misaligned, but I want to do right by his service. Got regs?

Awesome thing you're doing, WO1 (Join to see). I've put a few shadow boxes together for retire EOD friends. This is how it's done. You CAN do the 4 separate devices, but the 4-in-one looks better, and is very much less of a pain in the ass.
AF Instruction 36-2903 is your 670-1 counter part if you want to research it. I'm happy to help as well if you have any other questions.

I've seen it done both ways WO1 (Join to see) but not sure which is correct. I like them when they are lined up perfectly. Good for you for honoring your late grandfather.
