What's the craziest thing you've seen in the barracks?

Too many to choose from but one incident was in Korea we had just come out of the Field after three weeks and there was a 100% eyes on accountability of all weapons before we could be released for the weekend. My roommate's M16 was missing from the armory so they searched our room and then broke the lock on his locker. Inside his closet was the M16 and three 5Lb blocks of partially moldy pre-sliced american cheese.

My roommate was a fellow cook who had not found the time to get his stolen cheese off base to ajoomma. Needless to say his blackmarket warriors pass and that of our corporal and specialiast were revoked when they came back to the barrack; along with their rank.

That's the worst of it I worked in single soldier housing for about 6 months

7 of so guys a lined up on the edge of a bed watching porn together. Everyone had their pants on, but still....

In Basic training at Fort Sill, My drill Sgt was doing a contraband search and found condoms and porn magazines

I saw a guy poop next to the toilet and leave it there. Then a few minutes later anothee guy came in without gloves and picked it up and carried it around for a couple minutes until he decided to throw it into the trash instead of the toilet.

Sheppard Tech. Institute, a young recruit went with her 30 th day pay, bought a revolver, and shot herself because she was flunking!

hm. well during basic one of the males decided to try,and make a hammock or something like it, in the barracks between two bunks. he was using bungee cords. One of the cords came lose and snapped back across the bunk with him in between. It left a deep gash in his eyebrow that he had to get sewn up. It's either that, or the time twi females were up past curfew and they thought they heard a drill Sgt coming. they switched off there lights and ran full speed into each other. One fell into the bunk, and the other into the kill zone. both had gashes in there heads and another female freaked out and yelled for a drill sgt.
