What's the craziest thing you've seen in the barracks?

Silk sheets and a mink blanket... I get wanting comforts of home but if you're not a top rack then that crap is a slip hazard especially for the person climbing down for an early watch.

While stationed at Damn Neck, Virginia in the early 80's as part of our duties we had to do pre-confinement physicals of those unfortunates that were heading to the brig. The MAA's brought in two of the sorriest seamen I have ever encountered up to that point and presented them for their physicals. These two idiots were spotted by the Fire Watch on duty burning themselves with lit cigarettes.

Camp Monteith 2002. Came back to the room from tower duty to see 4 guys watching a gay porno one of them bought from a local. They were all staring in unbelief at what was on the screen while the one who bought it kept saying "just wait, the girl will show up anytime now."

In AIT in Fort Leonard Wood, MO, we of course had some hotel parties. At one of these parties a buddy of mine was screwing around with a chick in our platoon, well a Marine was shit faced drunk and he smacked this chicks ass. Well my buddy wasn't happy about it, he chased him out of the room and once they got in the hall way, he backed the Marine into a corner and just layed him out with one punch. So the cops were called, however they couldn't tell who hit the guy on the security camera because of all the people that rushed to the hallway to watch the action. So the cops stand the marine in the hallway and then have each one of the other males there to come out to the hallway one at a time and have the marine identify who hit him. Well I'm only 19 at the time and I'm hammered, I think a couple other guys were underage as well. But you could definitely tell I wasnt 21. Anyway long story short, the marine never snitched and that was that, the cops left, we continued to party and the Marines took off.
