Stripes, In the Army Now, and 1941 are all tied for first. The Pacifier at #2.

I noticed there aren't very many comedies depicting the Marines. Does that mean not very many people find the Marines funny?

Especially those on the wrong side of the rifle, but I did get a lot of grins out of Full Metal Jacket, probably does not speak well of me.

Flying Leathernecks had some good lines from the line Sgt. Nice tents, don't mind the little holes where the serial number should be. Watch those Mud Marines - They Steal.

Pauly Shore is definitely not one of the few good men Army recruitment has in mind for molding into a soldier. But that doesn't stop pacifist Pauly from sign...
The vote is over! I vote "In the Army Now" with Pauly Shore. The actors who played Drill Sergeants were great.

Stripes is the funniest, Kelly’s Heroes is the best, and In the Army Now (94) is the dumbest.

"In the Army Now" with Pauly Shore to me it was funny... Water Purification Specialist.
Growing up I saw this old B&W movie with Francis the talking Mule a male 2LT and unit full of females on maneuvers with an all female unit. Francis of course was pretty much leading the unit and of course they our fox the red force. Don't recall the movie, but it was funny in a 1940's kind of way.
