By the way, AR 614-30 just released a new version today that goes into effect 22 Jan 17. Not a lot of changes to your specific situation, but just wanted to keep everyone abreast of the update. Also, if you get stationed in Europe, USAREUR has a supplement AE regulation that ties into AR 614-30.

Do you happen to have the supplement AE regulation for USAREUR by chance. Basically I am scheduled for a 9-month rotation in Europe and I want to know if it my dwell time gets reset.

SPC (Join to see) I PCS'ed to QATAR and when I left that place, my dwell time got reset, Kuwait is the same thing

SPC (Join to see) - But the basic layman explanation is that...if you are still within the window of dwell time, if you request to deploy then you have to sign a waiver dismissing your dwell time. Honestly though, I would get with your CoC and push this question up to your S3. They may have the policy/regulation handy to provide a better/clearer answer.
