I did it with patches after 40 years Sister Jeanette, although it still took about a year. It's hard giving up your best friend, having been there through the good times and the bad times. I used to just imagine myself going without smoking. They don't advise wearing patches and smoking, but I couldn't not do it. My last month or so I was rolling my own, taking a drag, letting it go out, then going as long as I could without. But you're going to do what's best for you so the best of luck with that!!!!!

I resolve to eat more bacon and ride my motorcycle more. Those are about the only resolution I know I will be able to accomplish successfully.
