Ah yes, "Jody calls," we've all heard them, marched to them, run to them, or called them out in a motivated tone; so, what are some of your all time favorites? As this is an inter-service thread, we want to hear from all of you--Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, Reserve of each of the above, and the National Guard--so what are your favorite service-specific cadences, and do you have an old standby or trusty go-to cadence? Perhaps it was one that was once popular but somehow fell out of use, or maybe an just an old standard or unique favorite. Please feel free to share any photos, videos, sound files, stories, associated memories, and/or anything else needed to help to tell your story. I'm sure that an old classic or two comes to mind, so "one, two, three, four-or... this is what we're here for-or..." So, pull up a keyboard and let's get this thing started, thank you for all that you do, and... see you all in the discussion threads!

This one for Marching

YELLOW RIBBON
(Army Marching Cadence)

Around her hair she wore a yellow ribbon
She wore it in the spring time, in the early month of May
And if you asked her why the heck she wore it
She'd say she wore it for her soldier who was far, far away
Far away
Far away
She wore it for her soldier who was far, far away
Around the block she pushed a baby carriage
She pushed it in the spring time, in the early month of May
And if you asked her why the heck she pushed it
She'd say she pushed it for her soldier who was far, far away
Far away
Far away
She pushed it for her soldier who was far, far away
Behind the door, her father kept a shotgun
She kept it in the spring time, in the early month of May
And if you asked her why the heck she kept it
She'd say she kept it for her soldier who was far, far away
Far away
Far away

I have several, some of which are C-130, When we go to Heaven, and Two Old Ladies. In fact, pretty much any of the ones that involves airborne. The SEALS also have a good one, displaying it's rivalry with the other Special Operations teams.

Little Red Wagon is my favorite. I also enjoy "When I Get to Heaven" (especially when someone loses track of where they are and gives St Peter a boot to the chest lol). My DS used to always call the "Somebody Ain't Gonna Make It" cadence and it really pumped everyone up. To the point where the run would slow down to a crawl because the entire company only wanted to hear him lol.

Little Red Wagon is always a fun one. Yellow bird is a good one too. (Got stopped from using that one during WLC). Also the Left Right KILL running cadence involving markets and machetes that we're never allowed to use :(
