I think there ought to be a museum somewhere dedicated to all the different animals the US military has used over the decades, including dogs, horses, carrier pigeons and others. last year I watched the Bastille Day Parade (local public tv has France 24 news on) midnite to 6 am.
there was a military dog unit in the parade, all of the dogs had yellow scarves with their medals pinned to them.
America, we are doing it wrong.
