A little over 50 years ago, the Army set me on R&R to Majorca. Not sure why, was not asked if I wanted to go or anything. It was just you git on the truck. I responded yes sir I'll get my gear. You won't need it. The next thing I know I'm on a beach. I had about $40.00 on me for 9 days. I exchanged $20.00 for a bag of money and had some left when we got back on the boat.

My Favorite place to vacation is Colorado Springs Colorado. The mountains are so beautiful anytime of the year. The beauty to me is breathtaking and the fishing is miraculous.

I appreciate the heads-up about the remoteness and potential wrecker bills – definitely, something to keep in mind when exploring an off-the-beaten-path.
As for me, I'm actually thinking of taking a short break and heading to Aguila de Osa, Costa Rica. It's always exciting to discover new places, and I've heard amazing things about this spot. The idea of exploring lush rainforests and pristine beaches has me daydreaming already.
For anyone who is interested, here's the link to Aguila de Osa Costa Rica: https://aguiladeosa.com/ . It's worth checking out if you're looking for a unique and memorable vacation experience.
