If the man at the top may be unstable - then the White House is likely to exhibit some instability - as well as some efforts by the White House staff - who are normal infighters - to undermine and replace the man at the top. The problem, however, is how to accomplish regime change (the replacement of a mentally unstable incumbent with another member of the ruling political party) within the very strict confines of the United States Constitution - and within the constraint of maintaining the full faith and confidence of the citizens. Time to bring Mike Pence up to bat.

I think we are all trying to cope with our various mental illnesses with anger, humor and apathy. I question my sanity regularly.

This is more of the usual diatribe both parties and their stooges engage in when they are in the minority. It's political misdirection and white noise. I'll take notice when a competent medical authority makes a diagnosis.

Seriously? 1. There are checks and balances in our system. 2. What basis do you have to evaluate his mental condition? If its the news without personal daily observation then you have no first hand data to evaluate. The system works - let it

You should go to the Whitehouse and do something audacious. That should take care of it. At least temporarily.

Instead of threatening the President, perhaps you should work at stopping the illegal aliens from voting. In so many states we give them driver's licenses and automatically enable them to vote, only needing to swear that their are citizens. Most are willing to swear that they are citizens because they love the gravy train the Democrats have given them. And so they vote Democrat. That explains the popular vote that Crooked Hillary got in CA and NY.

CDR Lewis C Larson - exactly correct and you will NEVER see that in the news.

Sandy, why are you even on this forum, because clearly facts have no place in your bubble...?

SPC Randy Torgerson -
I explained this elsewhere - but I recopied response below for your sake. Beyond what I said below - I believe it is important for our military and veteran members to occasionally hear information and perspective originating outside military-industrial complex bubble.
Warmest Regards, Sandy :)

CSM Charles Hayden Passed 7/29/2025 - In my carreer, I have been a collector, analyst, and operations officer. Now, I manage a group that handles somewhat more complex tasks. The number of up votes is immaterial to me. The number of views is somewhat more interesting. But, the point of my posting is generally to help people who have some more narrow view of the world think about the nature of their perspective and where it may fit within a somewhat broader world view. A secondary purpose is to encourage those who may not express themselves in public forum to respond to issues they feel are important. Perhaps even to encourage those individuals to become more active forum participants. If I was looking for purely supportive people, I could easily engage some other political discussion groups. But, my goal here is to engage those who care about our country. I also, in other discussions, try to help those who need help thinking about and dealing with more personal difficulties. In other discussions, I quietly recruit for company work people who appear to have the requisite moxy, experience, and commitment to perform. In every instance, the goal is to support the national security interests of our country -- even if it may seem in the moment that I question or challenge rather poor leadership models in our senior executive offices. I am a Reagan era Republican who has grown uncomfortable with many of the wrong directions our country had taken - which have done serious harm to our interests an home and abroad. I believe we are still a great country with enormous potential for making the world a safer place and leading a fight against tyranny and oppression (including oppression and exploitation of women) at home and abroad. I am nearly 67 years of age, recently troubled by concerns about a heart attack diagnosed by one of those little office lunch box electrocardiogram boxes - where my concerns were resolved by Exercise EKG, Resting and Exercise SPECT, and EchoCardiograms today. I am short on patience for stupidity - and critical of those who lack discipline and commitment to our broader national goals - including the personal values of compassion for those who cannot afford to buy protection. I am considered by some, including past presidents, an icon of the Cold War because I took deeply personal risks to meet, recruit, and manage sources in unfriendly territories. I am considered to be a relic of another era by younger colleagues who do not believe anyone over the age of 30 can make any contribution to our efforts at home and abroad. Fortunately, my civil service and political colleagues still support my efforts - so I have yet to really retire. I became involved in this forum when being treated for PTSD - my therapists suggested using this form to make contact with old friends and colleagues from the Vietnam era. They also asked me to participate in some of the early veterans administration PTSD in patient groups for women. I have been fortunate enough to be cross trained in a very broad range of diplomatic, intelligence, and operational skills. I have also been fortunate enough to work alongside some of the bravest and most committed men and women - whose contributions to our country will likely never see the light of day beyond discrete agency ceremonies and close drinking friends. I don't know what you want to know - but beyond being rather conservative strict constructionist in my views - I am a feminist who cannot abide men like Trump who have a record of abuse and exploitation of women. I am not allowed to say how I believe he should be sanctioned for his behavior. But, I am of the opinion terrorists who abuse / exploit women should be guests at our black sites. Warmest Regards, Sandy :)

If you want to know the process, I refer you to the Constitution of the United States. The answer you seek is there. You might serve yourself well by actually reading the document and if you don't understand it, ask someone.

1LT Sandy Annala I vote for SSgt Boyd Welch's response. By the way; you are an 'intel collector'? Is any one collecting the number of "Up voted" responses vs the up votes for your proposition. Friends?
