What should be shown as my basic branch on my ORB, my original branch or the one I to which I recently transferred?

I recently transferred from the Infantry branch to Military Police. My ORB now shows my branch code as 31 (MP) but shows my basic branch as Infantry still. Should my basic branch be MP or does it stay Infantry?
