Just my observation of the facts from 32 years in Service, and a good Portion with Special Forces. Jimmy Carter cut funding and slots for Special Forces Reserve Units by nearly 50%, because he said that they were, "Dirty Fighters", and that everything that Special Ops could accomplish "....could be done by Satellite Surveillance....". President Reagan came into Office, doubled our support, and then Training & Morale skyrocketed. Bill Clinton became President, and 2 of the 4 Reserve/National Guard Special Forces Groups were Disbanded. So without Political Comment, "Read the Tea Leaves for Yourself".

I bet that we will see less of things like programed flying hours for aviation community, lower food budgets (more beenies and weenies for dinner) and slower depot cycles for our equipment. All of those reduce readiness, but lower the DoD budgets without affecting the meed for cost of living increase. With regards to the DFAS pay scale, that will depend on how far congress digs us into debt to pay for things like the COVID relief package.. I bet we will continue to see cost of living increases. We learned the hard way when soldiers and sailors had to get handouts at the commissary in the mid 70's. But we will probably see less authorized troop levels. Which means the services will be looking for reasons not to allow you to re-up.

SFC Art Robinson - 4) She isn't in an echo chamber. Minus the part about the election that is. There was election fraud, it's been proven, but we don't know how much, so I can't really say one way or another. I know for a fact more people than I can count had so much TDS that they voted against Trump, (not for Biden, but against Trump). So I couldn't possibly say who would have won had there been zero election fraud. I really don't know and wouldn't hazard a guess.

I was a Battery Commander in the Kansas National Guard. In 1976 during the Carter Administration we went to Ft Riley for a live fire weekend. The RA Sgt assigned as our liaison asked how many 8" rounds we had available to shoot. I said 200. He said his 105 unit didn't have howitzer ammunition or fuel. The only training they could do was march to the rifle range and fire their M-16's. One night we were late finishing training and our mess was closed. We tried to eat in the RA mess but the food was inedible. That was my experience when a Democrat was President.

Well I know one thing, I have not seen my regular doctor for a year. I call and try to make an appointment and always told All Lines Are Busy Please Call Back at a later time. Then I had a keen surgery and the va is telling me that I might have to pay for all the care and pain pills for my surgery. When I started they took my finance records and they did not say anything about my income. Now making 25 thousand for the year of 2019 that 25,000 is to much and I am not due any health care at all because I make to much. Well I make only 2166 a month which is my deceased wife’s benefits, so the VA does not care for a Vietnam Vet.,
