What should we, as Veterans, resolve for our new year?

I had a Major that used to tell me, improvement of only one half of one percent daily, even with days off, would leave anyone more than 100 percent better by year's end.
Linked here are some thoughts from The Havok Journal on some resolutions for veterans, what are your thoughts?

Great link, MSG (Join to see)! I especially like #8 on that list: "I will help write the next chapter of our nation’s history." And it's explained, essentially, as getting involved. If we all did a little something, or a little something more, for our fellow veterans, our communities, our country, pick a cause, we could make things better. One person may not change the world, but if all, or many, vets did this, it would have a significant impact.
My favorite resolution is that one: Get involved! Contribute. Give something back.
You never know what a positive impact you might have: "To the world you may be one person but to one person you may be the world."

Improve myself and those around me every day!
MSG (Join to see), not sure if you were specifically asking about anyone who has ever served or just those that had served, but aren't any more (I get confused about the term Veteran sometime), but as an AD Soldier, the things I do to improve are from the inside of the organization, which may be different than those I would do once I retire.

A worthwhile exercise for all of us. Keeping a positive outlook and making progress daily are things that improve us and those around us. Thank you for the tidbit.
