Doesn't matter if you agree with this move or not - it's been directed and it's happening. What are your suggestions for renaming the following bases?

- Fort Gordon

Leave them alone. All installations that were named after Confederate soldiers are a part of history. If people don’t learn that history, then we are doomed to repeat it. Look at what the way our country is divided, Afro Americans, Latino or Hispanic, and White people are against each other again. Everyone needs to learn history.

Name the bases after the Umited States military leaders that defeated rebellion and brought those states - where the bases are located - back to the Union and brought us Victory.

I suggest that these names remain the same to clearly bear the original names of the military bases so it is

Leave the names of the bases alone. The DOD needs to stop caving to cancel culture. Our enemies (China, N. Korea, Russia, Taliban, ISIS, etc) is where our focus should be. Not renaming bases because it hurts someone's feelings.

They have been awoken, just ask Milley. We have unprecedented potential global conflict and he’s worried about his “ white privilege” if they do not get their heads out of their rectums we won’t have to worry about any of this garbage because those of us who survive will be learning Mandarin!!

I agree with SSG Carlos Madden that this is a "done deal". We need to make our feelings known on how the bases should be renamed. So by making a suggestion as to who should be considered for this honor, we can some how resolve this and make the transition as painless as possible. But be clear, I am not a supporter of the base name changing!

Name them after the signers of the Declaration of Independence. Without them and this document along with the Bill of Rights and Constitution we would not be the nation that everyone wants to move to throughout the world.

I personally do not feel that they should be renamed nor should any statues that have been erected across the nation to remember our history torn down. If people get upset then maybe they should actually study the individual or event in which they became famous in-depth so that they may fully understand why these individuals are so revered.

I agree, they should be renamed for the best of us. Medal of honor recipients from our most recent wars.
