This is the most moronic shit I have ever heard. There are few real men left. If they are offended by a name at home just wait when the real battles start. America is deceived and the population is being run by a minority who are lead by their emotions. Just like the Roman Empire we are signing our own death warrant. Call the bases what you want but for this old veteran.. I will NEVER comply.

I wonder why our leaders never object to Seattle's Lenin statue. I find that offensive...

Leave the names as they are. At the end of that Uncivil War Between the Various States the federal government made all that fought on the Confederate side US Army soldiers.
Therefore the names of US military bases that bear the names of the South's generals in right and proper.

Exactly, although the south lost the war, they have the right to be proud of their sacrifices. This has nothing to do with slavery, and everything to do with patriotism. STOP the blame game and using unjustified grief to change history people!

Leave them alone. Chances are the confederate officers have just as many skeletons as anyone else and it's just a political move to pander to a group who likely hates the military anyway.

Right ON! If you hate America so much, GO TO Afghanistan or Iran, they are waiting with open arms!

If the idiots at the DoD have a big enough staff to worry about base names, they have too many idiots on the payroll. Leave the names alone. I don't want to tell my grandkids I served at Fort Bragg only to get a bunch of blank stares until I remember to use the new name: camp Panty Hose.

SGM (Join to see) - lets not forget that she was a bartender “ not that it’s a bad job etc” touts her “tax the rich” and has been in Congress for roughly two years. She now is a millionaire herself and has committed criminal and political malfeasance by accepting gifts and attending very expensive gala’s that someone else paid for her entry and plate. She is the atypical Socialist!!

They were given a choose at West Point and they chose to fight for their beliefs.
They are considered US Veterans, like the other veterans of the Civil War and me 2 Great Grandfathers who fought for the North
