Doesn't matter if you agree with this move or not - it's been directed and it's happening. What are your suggestions for renaming the following bases?

- Fort Bragg
- Fort Rucker
- Fort Benning
- Fort Gordon
- Fort Hood
- Fort Polk
- Fort A.P. Hill
- Fort Belvoir
- Fort Lee
- Fort Pickett

Name them for the city they are located near. Forget individuals for you never know when they might fall out of favor or someone or group might find them offensive.

Leave them as they are, the are American Soldiers. Just as left wing politically correct idiots tear down & desecrate memorials dedicated to American Soldiers who fought in War WWII, Vietnam, Civil War. Bottom line, they were American Soldiers. They deserve the respect, to never forget them as they fought for their State the same as in the American Revolution.

I like the suggestion of naming all of them to Medal of Honor recipients. But personally I have no skin in this as a retired Air Force.

It's part of history, leave them the hell alone and stop being such a sensitive candya*s baby. I'd bet some of these bases have been named long before you had the chance to end up as a brown stain on the mattress.

Since we're going full woketard the obvious names would St. George Floyd, St. Michael Brown etc.. and let's not forget appeasement of the Rainbow Mafia either.

History is the past done and over. I understand the grievance it causes. I was in Nam for my 21, 22, and 23rd birthdays. I believed in what I did. Unfortunately, I was wrong, and there is not a damn thing I can do about it. There is no way to change it, nor can I forget it. I must move on.

My suggestion would be to change the administration and get away from the appeasement of wokeness. Changing the name of those installations WILL NOT improve our military.
