Change the name of Fort Benning to] Fort Barry (first commissioned officer in US Navy - Commodore Barry).1) It would be a great boost for cross service relations 2) It also starts with a "B", and 3) Its was my birthplace in 1939, lol.

Fort Stalin and Fort Mao will take time, due to the clumsy word association they create, but Fort Lenin works well.
I think boot camp bases should be renamed Big Brother's Boot Camp,
Fort Bragg > Fort Kabul
Fort Polk > Fort Ho Chi Minh (due to Polk's reputation for the stifling humidity)

Ft. Gordon could also be officially changed to "Gary Gordon" - MOH recipient. Now no one would have to change any of the signs, websites, ect!

I thought about that too, however in order to make sure that Gary Ivan Gordon is not confused with the original named after Confederate Army Lt. Gen. John Brown Gordon.

I would remove the "Fort" from the name as they really are not Forts and give them a name that corresponds to the state and training.
Fort Bragg could become North Carolina Pain Endurance.
Fort Hood could become Texas Commode of the Continent.
This is how I remember them.

Randomly pick a recipient of the MOH from WW2 or after for each one. Prior to that a lot of MOH’s were politically issued.

I'll give it a try. In no particular order:
Fort (Clara) Barton-Founder of the American Red Cross
Fort (Mary Ann) Bickerdyke-US Sanitary Commission and made Union generals pay attention
Fort (Juliet Gordon) Lowe-Founder of the Girl Scouts, born in Savannah
Fort (Mary Edwards) Walker-US Army Surgeon, Union Army
Fort (Harriet) Tubman-Union spy, underground railroad conductor
Fort (Sharon Ann) Lane-1LT, Army Nurse Corps, KIA Chu Lai, 1969
Fort (Dan) Bullock-Okay, he was a Marine but he was the youngest KIA (15 years old) in Vietnam, and African American
Fort (Oveta Culp) Hobby-First Director of the Women's Auxillary Army Corps (1942)
Fort (Frances) Stanger-LT, Army Nurse Corps, KIA. 1944. One of 4 ANC officers to come ashore on D-Day and ONLY ANC officer to die in the European Theater
Fort (Frances Olive) Chesley-2LT, Army Nurse Corps-KIA (Kamikaze attack) while assigned to the USS Comfort. Okinawa, April, 1945
Fort (Ashley) White-LT, Medical Service Corps. KIA, Kandahar Province, 2011
How did I do?
