Doesn't matter if you agree with this move or not - it's been directed and it's happening. What are your suggestions for renaming the following bases?

- Fort Bragg
- Fort Rucker
- Fort Benning
- Fort Gordon
- Fort Hood
- Fort Polk
- Fort A.P. Hill
- Fort Belvoir
- Fort Lee
- Fort Pickett

Fort Polk could be rededicated to James Hilliard Polk, a 4-star General who was a USAFE Commander.

How about using some of the past Presidents? Like Roosevelt, Carter, Jefferson, Etc.

Fort Lee and Fort Bragg could be even easier:

Fort Lee could be rededicated to Francis Lightfoot Lee. From Wikipedia: "...he signed both the Declaration of Independence and the Articles of Confederation..."

Fort Bragg could be rededicated to Edward Stuyvesant Bragg, who (among other things) was a BGen for the Union during the Civil War.

Just call it,
US Army Base, (Post) (Fort), A,B,C or 1,2,3, it don't matter what the name is, we all know what it is. I think the Navy got it right in WWII, Task Force A, B, or C.
