Doesn't matter if you agree with this move or not - it's been directed and it's happening. What are your suggestions for renaming the following bases?

- Fort Bragg
- Fort Rucker
- Fort Benning
- Fort Gordon
- Fort Hood
- Fort Polk
- Fort A.P. Hill
- Fort Belvoir
- Fort Lee
- Fort Pickett

I would love to see one (or two) named after women: Since the United States military was established, many women have accomplished unimaginable feats of courage and fortitude that have distinguished them within the ranks, ranging from saving lives as battlefield nurses to defending fellow soldiers in armed combat. The eight women highlighted below were able to not only achieve success within their respective branches of the military but they also positively impacted the U.S. military as a whole. https://online.norwich.edu/academic-programs/resources/eight-women-in-the-military-who-have-made-history

21 years in the Army and I never knew these bases were named after confederate generals except the obvious ones. Someone was hurt enough to check.

Ft Bragg should have already been renamed Fort Gavin. There is no one more fitting of having that installation named after home than LTG James Gavin, the founder of airborne operations and tactics.
