SSgt (Join to see) - I see that you're already there, forget my last comment. The only advantage to a right side vehicle is when passing a truck (or lorry) Buy American of German if you can. As for the rest, automatic, gas etc it's whatever you prefer. In the UK the roads are about the same size as in the US, but the parking spots are smaller, just keep that in mind. Enjoy the Heath, I did.

One thing is maintenance, look up part prices, see what your average parts cost, I bought and 04 Audi S4, wanted to do the clutch, clutch $250 US just the clutch Audi recommended to change the flywheel when the clutch is done, flywheel $1086.00 US , love my car but that hurts. Well good luck choose wisely.
