What type of discharge should I expect for refusing the covid vaccine?

I have no negative marks on my record and have been in the army for over two years.

My husband has been hospitalized twice and started chemo as a reaction to getting one Covid vaccine. I’ve had the anthrax vaccine which wasn’t approved either so I get both sides.

SrA James Cannon - If someone has an actual medical issue that causes an exemption then that's a different story. HOWEVER the majority of people trying to get a medical exemption have NEVER tried to get one for ANY OTHER vaccine.

SFC (Join to see) - The problem with your position is that in the current state you don't KNOW you have a condition until you're in the hospital. Furthermore no "OTHER vaccine" has to enter your cells, introduce created genetic material that your cells then used to produce a foreign protein which gets released into your bloodstream. THIS IS ALL NEW. It's being treated as if it were "ANY OTHER vaccine" but it's NOT.

Right now, all of that has been put on hold by a judge in the DC circuit. No servicemember can be discharged for refusing the vaccine at this time. Once it makes it way through the courts will be a different story.

That is if the courts decide that we as humin being have a choice of what's injected to our bodies. An we all who have been playing the game along time know the chain of Command try to bully us into it with threats of discharge. I retired back in May of 2014 how I made it 20+ years is I sort of did as I was told to do. In all seriousness you have 3 choices 1 refuse it an get kicked out of the easiest job you'll ever have. 2. Take the shot an hope your not the one who dies from it, but if you don't die an you get deathly ill. An I'm that case that's your first and last shot of it. Or option 3 get buddy with the medic giving you the shot an don't get. When I retired the VA talked me into the Pneumonia shot. I was.sickest I've ever been thought I was going to die for 2 weeks a.a trip to the hospital. So I had a adverse reaction to it so I'll never take it again. But I've never been a puss about any of the shots so just take it. The worst that could happen is you die

SGT Lonnie Woods - LOL what? I got the Pfizer shot in March...I'm still alive. I don't have any side effects. No 5G, no infertility, not magnetic - none of that conspiracy theory shit. My family members have had it. Coworkers have all had it - they're all alive still too.

SFC (Join to see) - yet an Army Flight Surgeon is now protected under the whistle blower act because she had the audacity to report through the proper process that pilots in her charge had to be permanently removed from flight status because of cardiac complications caused by the vaccines. Given the 0.0% (yes I rounded here add enough 0s and the number 1 appears) chance of significant effects from the illness and the grounding rate of the vaccine was 6% if I remember her statement correctly.

living in San Antonio, 5 installations in an hours drive and more within an hour... I can tell you that all these "new" recruits are all getting the shot without question. All of us who served post 9/11 were given a series of bullshit shots that didn't do a damn thing, but hey, we got them anyway. You'll get shots for no damn reason in the military, but you get them, because command is told that they're required for you to be able to do your job. If you die from the shot, guess what, your family gets a check. Biden is still of the old mud puddle crowd that still thinks the military is the gov'ts pin cushions and test pool.

I look at this page and comments and feel very sad that a Pandemic is so political. None of us can get the true science and that is a shame on our Government. None of us should have to guess if the shot is right for us. I have taken the shots and no reaction while friends had reactions.
Anyway, I think if you are in the Military and refuse to follow the order, you will and should expect a General Discharge and as mentioned below - this one will fall under some form of DOD how they will handle. The best would be a General and strike it from your record. When this happens - not sure about benefits.
My brother was released from the Army with a General and he now enjoys VA and his disability. He was discharged for taking / addicted to drugs they gave him in Vietnam. I think it was a General Discharge with less than Honorable conditions but they did not take away his benefits.

SPC Jeremy A - Why can people see that Biden is weakening the military. Depleting our oil supplies, shutting down any fuel sources to be able to travel. He is doing his darndest to remove any guns! Ruined the supply chains, opened the border with no Vetting. Allowing drugs and thugs into our country. Removed any security measures that were in place. Orders police to stand down, selling our farmland to China, making us broker by the day, yet expects you to defend him. Well?????

Because if an unvaccinated person can kill a vaccinated person then the vaccine isn't safe or effective!!!!!!
If the vaccine IS safe and effective then AT WORST a vaccinated person is going to have mild symptoms and a much easier time but certainly be in no mortal peril...

All the innoculations given to the military prior to this farce have been tested and proven safe for YEARS! This "magic" juice which turns one into a "Genetically Modified Organism" has no history or proof of safety. I hope Congress can act correctly and ensure that any service member who is smart enough to avoid this poison isn't punished for their intelligence.

Most likely a "General Discharge", hopefully, that is the one. Then you can get that one changed to Honorable
